Daily Dinosaur Comics

For those of you not already in the know, you really should check out Daily Dinosaur Comics. It's a hilarious comic that is not really related to philosophy (it is, instead, related to dinosaurs). However, the guy who writes it clearly knows his stuff and brings up philosophic issues quite regularly.

Do the drawings ever change? Or is it only the text that changes? Half-joking/half-serious question: can it qualify as a comic strip if the drawing is the same each time?

Naw, the drawings never change. What's really amazing is how little that actually matters. Either the guy is really good at writing or the panel layout doesn't actually matter that much to a comic's content. Whichever, it's jam-packed laughs-galore! (That should be said with suitable deadpan sarcasm. Maybe the exclamation mark is inappropriate.)

As for the definition of a comic strip.. I dunno'. I'm inclined to say that any story-telling style in which drawings are primary and words are added counts as a comic strip. But maybe I just don't understand the artform well enough.
